Paediatric Occupational Therapist [ Term time only / Part time]

Playskill is an award winning, growing children’s charity.  We are looking for an experienced Paediatric OT to join our multi-disciplinary team, for the charity Playskill, with pre-school age children, working in a play based setting. 

Fridays, term-time, 9.00am-12.15pm in Hemel Hempstead,
Tuesdays 9.00am – 3.30pm in Watford,
Mondays 9.00am – 3.30pm in Watford (Maternity cover)
(Applicants are welcome to apply for any days listed or all 3)

Qualified paediatric experience is an essential requirement.  You will have 3+ years’ experience in working with children under 5 years who have physical and complex needs and a range of associated sensory difficulties. Applicants need to be fit for pre-school based work. The role also involves supporting staff and parents with training.

Playskill has a team of  HPCP registered Occupational Therapists who work together for CPD purposes and to support excellent practise.

Rate £22.21 per hour (including holiday pay).  DBS and full references required.

PLAYSKILL is an award winning Charity operating in Watford and Hemel Hempstead.  Our skilled team work with children who have a wide range of disabilities in parent/carer and child groups.  We achieve outstanding results consistently beating the improvement targets which are agreed for each child.

Financially sound and with good governance we are now poised for a period of expansion.

We are looking for experienced, skilled and capable people to join our Trustee team. We are looking for candidates who will bring new skills in all areas but particularly Finance and in Fundraising and Marketing.  Candidates who will enjoy and add value to our current team of Trustees.
