PROJECTS CO-ORDINATOR

Working for Award winning charity Playskill with pre-school age children with physical difficulty in a play based setting with a multi-disciplinary team based in Watford, but also working in Hemel Hempstead.

We are looking for a person experienced in administration and IT to help with co-ordination of the 6 groups that Playskill runs. 

An understanding of the new Data Protection laws is essential. You will have a crucial role in the team in our new office, liaising with parents and organising written communications working alongside an Administration assistant and co-ordinating a group of volunteers working for the office.

You will have a responsible attitude and a good understanding of administration systems, maintaining records of children, making and managing appointments. You will have experience in excel, access, and word plus an ability to use Mailchimp. You will be aware of Office 365’s capabilities. You will need to have good communication, empathy, numeracy and administrative skills. You will have good electronic record keeping, providing accurate information and dealing with both internal and external agencies.
£9.04 per hour [including holiday pay] depending on experience, with pension option. Working 20 hours per week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from our base in Watford.

PARENT SUPPORT WORKER

Playskill is an award winning, growing children’s charity.

As a result of the growth of our organisation we are looking to recruit another worker to assist with Parent Support work. 

As a Parent Support worker you will be responsible for assisting parents with finding support from health, social care and education for their child with physical difficulty or delay. As an applicant you will have previous experience with working with parents, you will have excellent literacy and communication skills and experience of people management and conflict resolution. You will be experienced at training and mentoring.

The applicant will need to understand working with children with special needs, and the training required for this and work flexibly between bases in Watford and Hemel Hempstead etc, and work from home as required.

Work will be sessional 10 weeks per term, 6 hours per week at £14.99 per hour. DBS and references required.

Financially sound and with good governance we are now poised for a period of expansion.

We are looking for experienced, skilled and capable people to join our Trustee team. We are looking for candidates who will bring new skills in all areas but particularly Finance and in Fundraising and Marketing.  Candidates who will enjoy and add value to our current team of Trustees.
