We are looking for an experienced Paediatric OT to join our multi-disciplinary team, for the Award winning charity Playskill, working with pre-school age children with physical difficulty or delay, working in a play based setting. Mondays [with possible additional work on Tuesdays] term-time in Watford.
Qualified paediatric experience is an essential requirement, experience in specialist seating and Bobath training is desirable. Applicants need to be fit for pre-school based work. The role also involves supporting staff and parents with training. £20.22 per hour. [including holiday pay], with pension option. DBS & references required.
Informal visits welcomed Monday 25th June 2018. Start date Monday 9th July 2018 for handovers then Monday 10th September 2018 onwards.

You will have experience in working with children who have complex needs and a range of associated communication difficulties, as well as knowledge of AAC. Knowledge of Makaton signing is highly desirable; experience in paediatric dysphagia would be beneficial. Applicants need to be fit for pre-school based work. The role also involves supporting staff and parents with training.

We are looking for a person experienced in administration and IT to help with administration and fundraising, as a result of starting our new Dome group. An understanding of the new Data Protection laws is essential. You will work as part of a team in our new office, alongside our Administrator and IT lead. You will have a responsible attitude and a good understanding of administration systems. You will have experience in excel, access, and word plus an ability to use mailchimp. You will need to have good communication, numeracy and administrative skills. You will have experience of electronic record keeping, providing accurate information and dealing with both internal and external agencies.
£8.66 per hour [including holiday pay] depending on experience, with pension option. Working 5-14 hours flexibly from our base in Watford, [work is significantly reduced in school holidays].

Playskill is award winning charity which is seeking to recruit a fundraiser to help develop this area of Playskill’s funding. The post is funded in part by the Big Lottery fund. Playskill is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, and who has ideally worked within a similar role or can demonstrate the relevant skills and experience required in the job description. You will be confident working independently and will have a pro-active approach to your work. You will have excellent communication skills.
A full driving licence and use of a car is required for this position, as you will be required to complete some travel for events and meetings.
The job will involve some home working, with some events and meetings on weekends and evenings. IT skills are essential, plus access to a computer and the internet.
Part-time role. Hours are flexible with reduced hours in school holidays, daytime term time availability is essential on Mondays, Tuesdays or Fridays. Rate between £11-£16 per hour, depending on experience. We are open to considering a job share with a split in roles between Trusts and Community Fundraising.
