DEPUTY DIRECTOR

We are looking for a Deputy Director, an experienced HCPC registered Senior [ band 7 or above] Paediatric Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team, for the charity Playskill, with pre-school age children, currently working in play based settings in locations Watford and Hemel Hempstead on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. The post would initially be 10 hours a week term time only for a short term contract of 6 months, but the charity is expanding rapidly and we envisage the Deputy Director playing a key role in our exciting expansion plans working alongside the Director closely, with potential to become a Co-Director within the year if the post is successful. Line-management of staff is an essential requirement of the post.

Excellent communication skills are required as the post-holder will be speaking to outside agencies and funders about the work of Playskill. Intimate knowledge of the charity is a significant advantage in this role, with excellent organisation skills for a challenging role supporting the growing office team. Applicants need to be fit for pre-school based group work, including movement of equipment.

£24.25  per hour. DBS and references required.  Deadline for applications: Tuesday 14th January 1pm. Interview date: Friday 17th January AM.

Financially sound and with good governance we are now poised for a period of expansion.

We are looking for experienced, skilled and capable people to join our Trustee team. We are looking for candidates who will bring new skills in all areas but particularly Finance and in Fundraising and Marketing.  Candidates who will enjoy and add value to our current team of Trustees.
