SPEECH and LANGUAGE THERAPIST

We are looking for an experienced Paediatric SLT to join our multi-disciplinary team, for the charity Playskill, with pre-school age children, working in a play based setting. Mondays, term-time,9-12.15pm and 12.15pm to 3.30pm term-time, in Watford.  

Qualified paediatric experience is an essential requirement.  You will have experience in working with children who have complex needs and a range of associated communication difficulties, as well as knowledge of AAC.  Knowledge of Makaton signing is highly desirable; experience in paediatric dysphagia would be beneficial. Applicants need to be fit for pre-school based work. The role also involves supporting staff and parents with training.

£20.22 per hour. [including holiday pay], with pension option.   DBS & references required.  

Informal visits welcomed Mondays 12th November, 19th November or 26th November 2018.  Start date Monday 7th January.

SPECIALIST WORKER POSITION

Required for the charity Playskill with pre-school age children, working in a play based setting.

Friday’s term time, 8.30-12.15pm, 12.15pm -3.30pm or 12.15pm to 3.45 PM, in Leverstock Green, Hemel Hempstead.


Experience of working with children with Special Needs is essential and applicants need to be fit for pre-school based work.  


DBS & references. £8.78 per hr. [including holiday pay], with pension option.

Informal visits welcomed  Friday 9th November.  Start date 11th January 2019.

IT Role

Working for Award winning charity Playskill with pre-school age children with physical difficulty in a play based setting with a  multi-disciplinary team based in Watford, but also in Hemel Hempstead. 


We are looking for a person experienced in IT to help streamline our systems across a number of home working staff and in the office in Watford to help with fundraising and administration. An understanding of the new Data Protection laws is essential. 
 
£12-£15 per hour [including holiday pay] depending on experience, with pension option. Working 7 hours per week flexibly from home and from office and other locations on Monday/ Tuesday/ Friday. 
 
Will need an understanding of basic networking and either have knowledge of or be willing to learn in their own time the concepts of Office365 such as Onedrive, Exchange email, Sharepoint, Teams. Access to both online learning resources and an experienced IT consultant as a mentor will be given. 
  
DBS & references required.  Informal visits will be welcome 23/10/18, 5/11/18 am, or 12/11/18 am in Watford.  Deadline for applications will be 13/11/18 12pm.

Financially sound and with good governance we are poised for a period of expansion.  We are now looking for a new Finance Trustee to join our team. Finance records kept in Xero, an understanding of this is essential to the role
