DESCRIPTION:Join us for another spectacular running celebration in the heart of Manchester with the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run. \nThe AJ Bell Great Manchester Run is the city’s original and best-loved running event – over 99% of runners say they’d recommend it to a friend. \nAnd in true Mancunian style\, it’s a party from start to finish\, with a high-energy soundtrack\, live music and entertainment zones at every turn – plus\, some of the loudest and most enthusiastic local support we’ve seen anywhere in the UK. \nHowever\, it’s also a testament to the strength and generous spirit of this incredible city\, with thousands of charity runners taking on the challenge of a 10k or half marathon each year to raise millions for charity. \n \nBy taking part in this event and fundraising for your challenge\, you will be helping Playskill to support pre-school children with physical disabilities by developing their communication and movement skills. \nEvery penny you raise enables the charity to provide a lifeline through free therapeutic play sessions for children\, tailored training and one-to-one support for parents\, and events for families.
