Reading with Charlotte Kohnhorst (Teacher & Assessor of Specific Learning Difficulties)
March 14 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Reading is a KEY SKILL. Parents of preschool children can help build firm foundations for later reading development. Children already at school need a great deal of support from their parents if they are to become competent, fluent readers. We will discuss the different ways to approach the task and how to work out which method to emphasise, for each individual child, taking into account his/her difficulties. This talk is suitable for parents of preschool children and pupils right up to Year 6 who are not keeping up with their peers.
