As Phonological Awareness and Early Phonics are KEY SKILLS, parents can really help their children to build the foundations of what they will be, or are already, working on at school. This session is suitable for parents of children from 3 upwards, including those already at school who are struggling with Phonics. Phonological Awareness is all about recognising similarities in speech sounds e.g. rhyme, a vital precursor to Phonics – understanding how we represent sounds using letters.
