Geri’s talk is on The Effect of Sensory Processing Disorders on Child Development. This talk may also be a helpful starting point for behavioural concerns. The way we process the information we get from our senses affects everything we do and learn. Geri will explain what sensory processing problems are and how they affect all areas of child development including: Behaviour. Gross and fine motor development. Play and Learning. Everyday activities. She will explain how you can help a child with sensory processing difficulties. This will also consider issues raised in Managing Behaviour training on 29/01/19.
